SMGL-2254 War Merit Cross First Class with swords Marked L/15 Otto Schickle *SOLD

This is a late period zinc in really terrific condition. A recent acquisition from a stash found in a wall for 75 years! These later version rarely have any of their finish. so finding one with over 95% of its finish is really outstanding. The cross is made by the Otto Schickle firm and is easy to see that they really spent a bit of time and filing and perfecting these crosses even later in the war. The pin is marked “L15” in a box and the hardware Is in perfect working order. A superior piece for your collection!
