SMGL-24843 Lions head Artillery Sword By Horster

A superb pre Third Reich sword! The chrome on this blade is mint condition. No wear, rust or scratches on the blade. The maker mark is tucked under the cross guard shield. Sword hilt is brass with a reddish patinization through out. You could in theory polish this up, but you would lose any remaining gold wash. The wire grip wrap is stellar, being tight and well wrapped. The blade length is 29.75 inches with a 31in scabbard. The scabbard has been repainted and is in very good condition with not major signs of rust or damage. These types of swords are a great value in my opinion.
