SMGM-2360 Bullet Proof Bible *SOLD

These bibles are very desirable and are always a neat discussion topic. Made by the “Know Your Bible Company” in Cincinnati Ohio. This one issued to PFC W. W. Dodgon in 1942. These were a fantastic marketing ploy, as people really believed they would stop a bullet. The steel plate wouldn’t stop a high power pellet gun, let alone a 9mm or round from a rifle! The steel cover is still securely attached to the leatherette black cover. There is some separation on the spine, but not too bad and still very useable. The cover has a gold paint and is stamped “May this keep you safe from harm”. errrr.. well the thought was nice!
