A fantastic private tailored tunic here! As you can see these Dutch tunics were a cut above everything else in the period. The details are just fantastic and the oversized collar really sets off this rare tunic! These are 7 button as standard. Hand stitched reinforced button holes. One observer of this tunic mentioned it is possible it was custom made by a Dutch tailor for a German officer and not an actual conversion. I’m not sure how to tell, so i will leave the tidbit of info here for you to explore. The overall condition is superb with just minor wear and maybe some small imperfections that you can see in the pictures. A really handsome displaying set here!
