SMGM-3602 Erich Stumpe Knights Cross Winner Signed (x3) photo W/envelope to Emilie Caldwell Stewart

Currently a difficult signature to find on the market. A lengthy note is written on the back and signed again by Stumpe at the top. As a bonus, it includes the envelope sent to Emilie Caldwell Stewart, a well known paper work expert and author. It’s possible this was in her personal collection at one point. The envelope is signed again on the back.

Oberleutnant Erich Stumpe (05.08.1904 in Sprottau † 27.12.1994) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on May 4, 1942 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on March 17, 1943 as Oberleutnant und Flugzeugführer in the 1. Staffel/ Aufklärungsgruppe 121.
