SMGM-3681 Very Early m34 Square dip fire brigade helmet double decal

This is a very early shell as we can see the protruding vent rivets that were eliminated in later models, likely due to cost saving measures. The decals on both side are in very good condition. This is a Comb-less version and shows no evidence of ever having one. The leather liner is present and a little on the brittle side. The Chin strap and neck guard have long been lost to time. A fantastic display piece and rather scarce in the world of fire helmets. The maker logo of a lion is stamped into the side with the number 9.
