SMGM-3872 Hitler youth Knife by Justus Brender & Co (Justinus)

An earlier pre rzm knife in well used condition. This maker was issued an RZM number of M7/16 in 1935 and it was quickly revoked in April 1936 according to Nathan Hogle’s reference. No RZM daggers have been found to date. The diamond is nice and springy but has some enamel damage. The plated hilt is steel and shows some wear and finish loss. The blade has been ground and filled like so many other’s. The HJ motto is mostly gone but you can still make out parts of it. The Maker logo remarkably has survived and looks great. the scabbard is in pretty good shape being dent free and most of the paint still present. There is a small spot of house paint? on the scabbard. The leather is in good shape and still usable. The snap works ok as well.
