SMGM-4131 Nazi DAF Standard

This bad boy is killer! This is about 4″x54″ and of very high quality. DAF flags can run the gamut in terms of quality. This one is at the top. The flag is a true two sided example with the DAF cogwheel sewn from multiple pieces onto the red backing material. The cog wheel itself is actually three pieces. A white background, a black cogwheel and black swastika all sewn together and then sewn on the flag. Then the same for the other side. The fringe is aluminum wrapped cotton and still looks amazing with no signs of damage. The Town of Jugesheim is hand sewn on both sides. The letters are in the early chain stitch style. Jugesheim is not too far from Frankfurt.  The standard has the remnants of pole loop Attachements on the left side near the town name. There are few small moth holes in the red field but nothing too bad or distracting. A fine back ground display item!
