A crazy letter to the family of a newly minted German soldier who die at only 18 years of age. The letter is more detailed than you would expect and tells the family that her was found in a ditch with a gunshot to the neck and head wound. It also says he was given a simple heros burial behind a farm near the battlefield and the location of the farm. This somber letter is part of a larger grouping that includes all of Isenberg’s Hitler Youth /NSRL Award documents and Rowing team photos.
