SMGN-1467 Early period Hitler Youth Knife by Anton Wingen Jr.

The scabbard on this example is painted with some moderate to heavy wear but is dent free. The brown leather strap and belt loop is in great shape and works as it should. The blade has the HJ motto still easily viewable despite the blade being sharpened. The spin of the blade shows some dents from the knife being used as some sort of hammer. A common thing to see with these work knives.  The hilt is steel with a nickel plating that is in fantastic shape. It can be hard to find steel hilted knives that don’t have heavy oxidation. The grip plates are in good shape and the diamond shows wear but no major damage. The diamond is wiggle free but is not glued and is the original.
