Description
Thanks to USM books for the excellent description:
“In vom Proleten zum Herrn! Dr. Robert Ley, Reichsorganisationsleiter and DAF Reichsleiter explains how the German people under the guidance of Adolf Hitler went from being an unimportant country to a force to be reckoned with by 1940, when this book was published by Verlag der deutschen Arbeitsfront in Berlin 1940.
The title of this 5-7/8 x 8 inch 32-page, heavily illustrated softcover book translates literally as “From Proletarians to Gentlemen”, in this case reflecting on the evolution of Germany and its population as a world power as a result of National Socialist leadership and ideology.
In this historical publication, Dr. Robert Ley, who also wrote parts of the Nazi Party Testament Ich Kämpfe and was the publisher of Der Schulungsbrief (The Party Directive) magazine, explains the three main social changes of the 19th century that created lingering problems in 20th century Germany:
2) Technical and industrial improvements created a need for more factory workers in large cities. Those workers had to leave their Heimat (home land) and lost their identity doing impersonal jobs.
3) The emancipation of the Jews and the creation and liberalism and Marxism.
German superiority, its responsibilities and Hitler and the National Socialists changed Germany; made it healthy again, a classless country with Jews no longer part of society. Adolf Hitler cleared the road for an important Germany of racially pure people who created and produced at the highest, most powerful level. A country liberated from 19th century smallness and narrow-mindedness that is now a worldly country, an important country that needs to be taken into account by the whole world.
This rare original 1940 First Edition example of vom Proleten zum Herrn! is complete and in very good little-used condition.”
