German handbook for ‘winter war’, 254pp.  (Berlin: Erich Zander Druck), September 1942. A scarce, heavily-illustrated guide for the German Wehrmacht for winter operations and survival, including positioning forces, clothing and dressing for the climate, camouflage, driving, emergency shelters, fire-starting and cooking, transport, and even building an igloo. First page bears the ownership signature . Near mint. A fantastic item for historical accuracy of reenactments. Comes in an NSV envelope which im not sure is how these were issued…but i guess the NSV could have had a hand in the distribution. Either way, it’s a perfect fit.
