SMGO-009 Field Made 4 Medal Ribbon Bar Rudolf Rojahn Grouping

A rare item to find! This guy was all over the place so he likely needed a “knock around” bar that he could take off easily and didn’t have access to have a nice one made while he was on the eastern front. This is one of those rare times where we can directly tie an item that is field made directly to a German vet, proving that they sometimes had to improvise and use less than perfect things.  Rojahn was a junior officer in the 262 Infantry Division (Cavalry) during the start of the war. His final assignment and rank was a Major in the General staff and given General Command of the XVth Cossack Cavalry Corps which at that time was part of the Waffen SS. His items will be available as they are acquired from his son who is letting them go in small groups
