SMGO-0355 Transitional Hitler Youth Dagger by Rich Herder

A desirable transitional dagger with typical blade wear and some sharpening. Still easily visible are the Herder logo and RZM (M7/18 1940). The hilt is zinc with a nickel plating that is worn is some spots and has some dings from one of the kids using the butt end as a tack hammer (a very common occurrence). The HJ diamond looks great and is nearly perfect. The scabbard is a bit rusty and the leather is a bit dry. We put some preservative on it, but a little more TLC would be good. The knife is far from mint, but a nice transitional non the less.
