SMGP-0404 German Eagle Order Medal in Bronze with Swords by G.H. Osang Marked 80

A peculiar example that is a bit out of shape. Upon close inspection it is apparent that someone tried to denazify it by using some sort of punch or press on each small swastika. This left an indentation on the rear of the medal and gave the swastikas a smooshed appearance. 100% original with a story that we may never fully understand. Clearly marked 80 on the ribbon loop.
