Description
A rare brooch with no pin. Possibly meant to be sewn on or the pin device is missing. The design resembles saber ouches worn at the time. The medal appears to be silvered brass. The blue enamel work is in near mint condition with no major cracks or chips. Maker marked Bernh. Richter Cologne. This pattern has also been observed in cuff link form and it was likely only offered or contracted by Richter.
