SMGP-1278 Double Proof Late Model Eickhorn SA Dagger *SOLD

This Dagger shows some obvious lifting to the plating on the cross guards. The blade itself is very nice with only minor signs of age and full cross graining. There is an edge on the blade. The blade also has the desirable double proof mark from Eickhorn, having both the RZM code and the Squirrel. The Scabbard is dent free and factory painted, as we expect with these later period examples. The scabbard is dent free with nearly all of the pain in tact. The lower fitting shows some oxidation, but is in good shape considering the ball is not dented like we often see. The upper fitting shows some minor oxidation but is in really good shape for a steel fitting. The leather hanger is brittle and has broken but was temporarily remedied. The clip is of the plated late period type as well. I think for the money, this is an excellent choice for a late period SA
