SMGP-1327 SA Grip oak grain *SOLD

This is a seldom encountered oak or possibly ash handle. The bold and aggressive wood pattern is striking and only found on really hard woods such as oak and ash. The dense woods also don’t absorb stain as easily as other woods which accounts for the lighter color. Early nickel eagle with a ton of verdigris which is a nice thing to see on a genuine early style grip. We see some stress cracks on the grip, but this would be normal on aging oak. The grip is still very strong and in no danger of breaking. Who ever picks this up is gonna have a lot of fun with this project, and if done correctly, they will have an amazing dagger.
