A very clean M1/103, An interesting study on finish and attachment materials. It appears the original lacquer is still present on the dark zinc, but there are lighter silvered areas around the attachment, suggesting that the soldiering material prevented the silver wash from fading away and the zinc still dissolved the silver finish with the lacquer still on the badge..Very interesting.
