This signature has been sold as original by some dealers unfortunately. The exact signature can be found on at least two variations of this portrait. This was apparently a war time reprint you could purchase as a Souvenir. Comes with a large 10×8 glossy print of Greim in front of his plane in WW2
(1892 – 1945) German Field Marshal and last head of the Luftwaffe, a Knights Cross winner involved in the invasion of Poland, the Battle for Norway, the Battle of Britain and Operation Barbarossa. His final words before taking cyanide were: ‘I am the head of the Luftwaffe, but I have no Luftwaffe.’ War date S.P., 2.5 x 3.75 in., sepia, chest up side profile portrait in uniform, signed at the bottom. Fine condition.
