This is an unusual pre RZM piece. The material is a heavier cotton then we would normally see on an armband or flag. The fabric appears to have been hand died, as you can see the “clamp” marks on the ends, they show up as undyed white marks. The pole loop appears to have been added at a later time and is made of a satin type material. These early textiles are a hoot to collect, because of the wide variations we encounter. This one appears to be a small batch job made in a small shop or even home made.
