Description

Come with a scarce colonial troops insignia, 6 DIC badge that has been modified with holes put in it for sewing and the pin removed. A gorgeous and desirable numbered Pilots qualification badge numbered 27614 is attached via two-piece pin retention bar through two tailor sewn badge loops. This badge looks like it has a repair with glue, meaning the original solder has broken free and it was put back on with crazy glue. That’s my best idea. Luckily, this should be an easy repair for someone who has experience with small soldering projects.  Both badges ARE INCLUDED with this this offering. The impressive cloth ribbon bar is actual sewn over another ribbon bar. Ive never seen this before but it’s a pretty neat thing. The collar tabs from what I’ve researched indicate a colonial division but im not 100% on this. Im assuming it’s a WW1 veteran who also took part in some way in WW2 or at least was refitted with a WW2 cut tunic? If you have more specifics, please email me at [email protected] The dress shirt and tie appear to be English made. Fantastic overall condition with no major damage or stains.
