SMGP-1669 Army Dagger by WKC *SOLD

Here we have a nice early style army dagger by WKC. Standard WKC fittings through out. The solid celluloid grip is in good shape, but does have a few abrasions and some very small hairline stress fractures. The fittings have the quality silver plate you expect from this firm, with some moderate but still handsome wear. The scabbard still retains much of its original lacquer which has taken on a yellowish tone. The scabbard is dent free and shows average wear and light oxidation to the steel shell. The blade had some light oxidation which was removed and the result is light foggy areas on the blade, looking much like water marks. This can be remedied if desired, but you would lose most of the original cross graining. The blade is ding free and there is no major corrosion pitting. All in all, its a good dagger if you are looking for your first dagger and are trying to stay within a reasonable budget.
