SMGP-1739 57″x93″ NSDAP Flag *SOLD

This is a hard to find item because it’s a flag and NOT a banner. Newer collectors sometimes get confused, but the NSDAP banners were hung straight down from buildings and such. They are MUCH more common then NSDAP flags, which, like this one, has rope ends to hoist the flag from a flag pole. What is also interesting about this flag is the 4 holes (damage) that are equidistant around the Roundel in a square pattern. To me, it looks like a GI hung it off a bed post or wall some how with no more then some large nails. I can’t fathom a collector doing something like that, but It was obviously done on purpose for displaying the trophy. If you are an NSDAP flag guy, scoop this up, because you may not see another for a while.
