SMGP-2288 deutsche Reichsbahn Mustard Jar for Hitlers Staff dining Car #244

A rare item and one Ive never seen before! Small serving cup seems to small for a sugar bowel so im assuming it was for mustard or another condiment. The  base measures less than 2inches and has a small dent on the base as well. The rest of the cup and lid are in great condition. Marked 244 on the bottom and hand engraved D.R. Lacking the typical DR eagle logo, i believe this specialty item was not available from the company that made the rest of silver with the eagle logo. Or, it was an early item before the other more recognizable DR logoed items were on the train.
