SMGP-2635 Photo of Photo Recon Pilot –Roger Aubry Estate

This pilot stands proudly in front of his P-38 with what I assume are swastikas painted on to represent missions in enemy territory. Photo Recon P-38’s were not armed so it isn’t a downed plane tally. 10×8″ Name of Pilot is unknown but might be researchable by looking at the other listings we have from the Roger Aubry Estate

Roger Aubry was in the 34th Photo Recon Squadron in WW2 which saw extensive air missions come their way. A highly praised unit. After the War, Aubry was actively involved in organizing reunions and record keeping.
