SMGP-2864 Ivory German Navy dagger Grip

Extremely desirable authentic Ivory grip for restoration of a premium navy dagger. These are almost never found on their own. This one came off a parts dagger that had an Alcoso blade on it and incorrect guard. So it may or may not be fit correctly for an Alcoso blade. German navy daggers were hand assembled and hand fit so some modification may be required for proper assembly. Due to the cost of this item, it can be returned if it is obvious that the grip will not fit properly with small modifications. The grip IS NOT RETURNABLE if there are ANY modifications made to it.

The grip has a beautiful two tone look to it with a lighter and darker side likely from UV exposure. The darker side has a gorgeous natural stress crack in the Ivory that collectors like to see and it makes for quickly identifying genuine Ivory. The lighter side has what looks like a fingernail size crack in it that is likely from striking a round object at some time. a iny but of glue appears to have been used at the bottom ferrule side in order to repair the portion were the wire goes in. It seems like a well done and solid repair.

A fantastic repair or upgrade option for a really nice dagger.
