SMGQ-0037 German Cross in Gold by Zimmermann

This is the light weight later version. A handsome example with a nice chip free enamel with just some light scratches to the black. The gold wreath is looking great with just some minor oxidation developing. The cross is marked “20” in the underside of the pin. Looks to be some evidence of polishing residue from many many years ago on the outside of the starburst. The 11:00 die flaw can be seen easily with the correct light.
