SMGQ-0041 Iron Cross 2nd Class jump loop repair WW1

This is a super neat repair (I think). Looks like the original jump loop broke, so they put a shim in between the two core halves and soldered it in and then soldered the jump loop to that. A period repair for sure. No one would do this type of work in the modern day on an award of this value. It’s also slightly off centered. NEAT! No ribbon.
