SMGQ-0194 Panzer Assault Badge in Silver by “A.S. In Triangle” ON LAYAWAY

This badge is linked to Adolf Scholze but has not be confirmed and is thought that Scholze potentially made this badge for another company. It is commonly referred to as an Adolf Scholze badge anyway. This would be a type 3.3.3 in De Bock’s revised book. De Bock says this type with the more pronounced scoop is harder to find. It should be noted that it looks like there was a pin repair on the ball hinge and it was hammered down to prevent the pin from coming out (again?). This hammering in turn looks like it led to the connection of the swastika to the turret being separated. It’s only really noticeable from the rear.  A very nice amount of the original silver finish is left, having toned some. Sharp grass details make this a favorite.
