SMGQ-0329 Original War Time Photo Polish Spitfire in Flight

Ultra rare photo here! This plane can be easy traced back with the clear letters on the side. The back of the picture says “A Spitfire used by the Canadians for training England 1944”.

I’m not sure if it was a polish plane flying for the Canadians at the time, but it’s surely not a “Canadian” plane.  The photo was brought back by a Belly Gunner in the Jane Lee B-24 Bomber for the 15th Air Force.  The photo has some finger prints and creases but is pretty darn good for being nearly 80 years old!
