SMGQ-03358 Heer Infantry M-42 Tunic with Officer upgrades

A very handsome tunic with a M-36 style collar. The shoulder boards are slip on with the loops being original to the tunic and in the same color wool. The boards are in worn condition and you and see the metal base metal popping through the fabric in spots. The Award loops are original to the tunic. The most notable thing about this tunic is the officer’s bullion eagle sewn over the existing factory EM eagle. Inside the jacket you can see the factory stitching which is entirely intact. The bullion eagle is hand sewn and if you look closely, you can just barely see the original eagle popping out beneath the eagle’s right wing tip.

The date codes and maker name are stamped into the inside and are easy to read.  There is no major damage or significant moth damage. The hat, belt and the awards are “NOT INCLUDED” and are shown only to help highlight the uniform and show how you could set it up yourself.
