SMGQ-0542 Brazilian M1908 bayonet with Matching numbers

This is one of the finest Brazilian 1908’s I’ve come across. there is some deep pitting on the spine of the blade but it looks like the blade was painstakinly cleaned of any other oxidation. It looks really good and slides out off the leather scabbard like butter. The wood grips and steel hilt are top notch as well. The leather scabbard is not bent or damaged and just has some minimal wear. The brass mounts are more desirable than the blued steel version which rusts. This mounts are looking great with just some minimal wear. The scabbard lug is numbered  C 1123 which matches the numbers on the cross guard. Really nice to see one of these in such good condition with matching numbers. Most of these were thrown in boxes and were sold as surplus. As a result they are usually found in much worse condition. Remeber, these were contracted by German firms, so the quality is outstanding on these from the get go.
