SMGP-0088 Luftwaffe survival knife by Alcoso

A super rare items to find in the wild! This is the first one Ive had to offer and it’s a screamer! the scabbard is blued just like early bayonet scabbard would be. It is dent free which is nearly impossible to find with these large scabbards! There is some light wear and oxidation but nothing too crazy. The hilt is solid brass and the blade tang runs right though it and is bolted ip similar to how a bayonet is made. The wood grip on one side has a repair which looks pretty old but hard to date. The crack in the wood is surely old and is why the piece of wood broke off where it did. Someone who is a pro with woodworking could likely do a nicer job, but it’s not too bad in my opinion. There is a pretty sharp edge on this thing with a few battle scars if you will. The alcoso logo in firmly stamped and easy to make out. The whole thing is 20.5 inches long and is really just a super heavy duty machete. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to snag is cool Luftwaffe relic!
