SMGP-2767 Second Model Luftwaffe dagger by SMF

This is a nice example with hard-to-find original gold anodizing remaining on the swastikas! The grip is the solid celluloid type with a hairline crack at the top and bottom but no evidence of these pieces creating further problems if cared for properly. The grip is a neutral yellow color with spring type grip wire that is also in excellent condition. The steel scabbard is dent free with some light wear and almost no oxidation. The bands are the typical SMF style in aluminum. The blade is plated, common on SMF Luftwaffe daggers. The plating does show some wear and haziness but no major pitting or plate lifting. a 7.5 out of 10 if i had to rate it. The logo looks great and has not been polished out. There is an inspector stamp above the SMF logo. A nice slightly above average dagger here!
