SMGP-1674 Teno Leader Dagger serial 1795 *SOLD

This rare dagger just came in from a veterans estate and has never been in a collection. The dagger shows very light wear through out. The only detracting feature worth noting is a small area on the left side of the cross guard on the top, where the finish has lifted and you can see a bit of the base metal, which appears to be a zinc alloy. Other then the aforementioned, the dagger is near mint in every capacity. From a striking blade, to the large amount of artificial darkening present still on the scabbard, this is truly a prize piece for the advanced collector. As we know, these pieces must come with matched serial numbers on the scabbard throat and the blade. Stamped into each is the serial number “1795”. The Eickhorn logo is cleanly etched and conforms to other accepted originals, as do all the other die features including the minute details of the eagle, swastika and pebbling of the scabbard. Truly, an investment grade piece that many can only dream of adding to their collection.
