SMGL-259 Single Etch short bayonet by Robert Klaas *SOLD

A fantastic single etch piece here with minor wear through out. There are some small spots on the opposite side from the etch that show wear to the plating. This motif is listed in Klass’s 1938 catalog as pattern Nr. 1264. This is the so called “stubby wing” eagle that is unique to Klaas. The etch translates to ” In memory of my service period. This is an excellent option if you are looking to dip into the etched bayonet world and not get burned.
