SMGL-260 K98 Combat Bayonet *SOLD

Ahhh, there is something magical about finding a K98 in this condition, taking out the blade and seeing the jet black finish! Al though its not a rare bayonet per se, finding a really nice one like this has become a tough thing to do. This one has very minor blade wear, to the point where it was only removed from the scabbard a few dozen times. The scabbard is not numbers matching to the bayonet but it is factory matched, which is not un common. GI’s were swapping parts around like crazy when they raided factories and supply depots. This one surely never saw any field use. The scabbard is fantastic with no signs of oxidation or dents, just some basic wear. The bakelite grip is 100% and the finish on the hilt is super nice, just showing minor wear and NO oxidation. We see two waffen marks on the butt end and one on the push pin. A killer example that would be tough to upgrade.
