SMGL-261 Early double squirrel bayonet by Eickhorn *SOLD

I’ve never had the pleasure of offering a nice early bayonet like this with a genuine ebony wood checkered grip until now! Hard to believe, but they just don’t show up that often. This one has a stepped blade and narrow fuller. The blade does show some chrome loss on the tip and a few other spots where its not perfect, but I think it still looks fantastic. The checkered wood grips look lovely with some minor wear. No chips or major damage though. The scabbard on this example is a beauty only very minor oxidation and no dents. We top this bad boy off with a light brown frog in excellent shape! If you are looking to balance out your dress bayonets with some earlier styles this is a tough one to pass up!
