SMGL-262 Transitional SA Dagger by Chromolit *SOLD

Here is a tough maker to find, rated as a 7 on the rarity list. This is the first one I have had the pleasure to offer for sale. The blade is super nice on this dagger, with no issues to speak of and gorgeous cross graining. The fittings are the later style plated version and there is no area mark. Those features with an early grip eagle and no RZM code tell us it was a transitional piece. Chromolit was likely just using up their supply of grips and blades. The grip is a very attractive light brown with no damage in sight. It appears to be Ash based on the grain. The grip to cross guard fit is excellent. The scabbard is another star of this show having a gorgeous paint job with very minor wear and dent free! Even the ball end on the lower fitting is un dented! A killer dagger for the SA collector.
