SMGL-176 Police bayonet by WKC *SOLD

This bayonet has a 13 in long blade. The blade has some chrome loss as you can see from the pictures, but i still think it doesn’t look bad. The scabbard is in fine condition with average wear to the leather. The scabbard tip has a small ding on the reverse side. The frog is soft an pliable, but does have a tear on the right side. The scabbard is numbered 149 on the throat and the blade is marked the same on the spine. The spine is a notoriously hard place to stamp a blade and we can see the person struggled a bit with the press to get it right. The guard is marked SB 5536. The Hilt is in fine condition with no major wear down to the base brass like we sometimes see. the stag grip and police insignia is also in good shape with minimal wear. A nice piece, priced right.
