SMGL-175 Early HJ Knife by Max weyersberg Rare Logo *SOLD

This early logo is ultra rare on HJ Knives. It’s the first I’ve had to offer and might be the last. These early Weyersbergs have a relatively light motto on the blade compared to some other makers out there. The condition of the blade and hilt/tang is typical, with some light oxidation through out. The scabbard is dent free and has a similar amount of wear and light oxidation. The snap is in fine working order although the belt loop is torn. The grip has been period repaired, and there was a decent attempt to checker the filled in piece. The diamond still has some play in it and has no major damage or inclusions. I don’t see any evidence of it being a modern hump job. Over all, a great example of an early knife with a rare logo.
