SMGR-0001 Letter to Employment Office from a woman tending her farm alone

The woman is pleading her case for some type of consideration regarding a prisoner of war. She speaks about her tending to her farm with only her daughter and that she is basically doing all she can. I’m not really sure of the context, but I’m sure a native German speaker can figure it out. Comes with an envelope with no post mark, indicating she either dropped it off at the office or never got a chance to deliver it. dated 1944 A fascinating first hand look into the effects of war on the small farm family.
