SMGQ-0541 Dress Bayonet With Stepped blade by Horster

Description

A desirable step down blade on this one with a nice chrome finish with minor wear. There are a few knicks at the point area, indicting it was likely used to open something before the user thought better of it. Not too bad though. The Horster logo is faint being stamped and then chromed over. The hilt is of a zinc or pot metal alloy with most of it’s finish looking good. Just some wear to the edges and high spots. The mortise is missing the felt and instead was painted red, and rather professionally I might add, though a long time ago. The scabbard has one small dent and is in great shape overall. Under the scabbard lug it’s stamped “753 H”. As we know, this stamp is a Horster bayonet feature and it’s nice to see a proper matching scabbard.  A nice choice to add to your collection.
