SMGL-2582 General Eduard Dietl Signed Post Card

(1890 – 1944) Nazi German general who participated in the Anschluss and attack on Poland, he is most remembered as the ‘Hero of Narvik’ for which he received the first Oak Leaves of the war. Killed in an airplane crash with his corps commanders.

This is a rare and desirable signature and even harder to find on the colorized post card. The signature is executed beautifully in black ink making this one of the most impressive signature/portrait combos I’ve ever seen from him.
