SMGM-3081 Heer Dagger by Eickhorn

This is a decent looking dagger with heavy silver plated fittings which have done a good job at preventing lots of oxidation. We do see some minor plat lifting on the scabbard and again on the cross guard, but nothing too serious. All the fittings and scabbard have the same patina. The blade has a hazy look to it as there must have been some light oxidation that was cleaned off it at some point. You may be able to spruce it up a bit if you are careful. The grip is a desirable deep orange color that has been un touch for many years. The grip does have what appears to be a burn mark on the back side which I am not able to really explain. The pommel is finger tight and you are able to open it up for cleaning and inspection if desired. I saw no issues inside when i did this myself and the pommel fit is very nice and the grip fits snug without needing to over tighten. Overall, a nice starter dagger or if you are trying to be a little more price conscious with your collecting.
