SMGM-3628 Unmarked WKC 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger

A late period unmarked example. The blade is not in great shape unfortunately but does not have any major pitting. Looks like it has some surface oxidation and was cleaned up with an abrasive. The grip is a solid wood core example with celluloid wrap. The pommel is a WKC acorn type and the cross guard is the generic style. The scabbard looks kinda like a Krebs but the finish matches with rest of the dagger. So, this could be a unmarked Krebs that purchased WKC parts or the other way around. It’s tough to say with these late war pieces because they were always buying and trading parts as production issues arose from the war starting. A good entry level 2nd model here.
