SMGN-0170 second model Luftwaffe Dagger with Initials by SMF

A beautiful dagger with an earlier solid celluloid grip that is evenly colored in a light orange. The grip is uncleaned and shows all its original dirt accumulation in the spiral grooves. The rear of the guard is very neatly engraved “U.M.”. The steel scabbard is in good shape with only one noticeable dent on the wearer’s facing side.  The blade is a real nice chrome plated version with no nicks on the edges. The SMF logo is beautiful and there is a “eagle5” inspection stamp which is nice to see as well. It shows very light runner wear and some light water marks from sitting unkempt in the scabbard for too long. A really fine dagger that i was think of keeping for myself!
