SMGN-1727 Cased Mother’s Cross in Gold with note Written inside cover

The penned note says “for 11 Children Born, Buschmann Marie 31.7.87”.  We can assume 87 is when she passed away, but we don’t really know. The case is actually a rarely seen “Glaser & Sohn Dresden” Marked example. Not much survives from Dresden since it was destroyed. The cross has some damage on the lower arm that has been “repaired” although not professionally.  The ribbon has been tied in a bow and a pin added. If you are looking for a mother’s cross with some history this might be a good option for you.
