Description

An absolutely smashing visor! Rojahn survived the war and was promoted to general staff late in the war which explains the exceptional condition of this visor. the visor is free of any moth holes or major wear. The inside, is spectacular with a perfect sweatband that is embossed “Kaps”. The Kaps logo is mint inside as well. A small stain on the silk is the only negative I can find. The chin strap is the late style cellion style. The bullion style wreath looks great and the later zinc cockade shows some oxidation but seems to match the eagle well. The eagle is a replacement, as the original one only had one prong remaining. This one has brass prongs and is well suited for this cap.

Rojahn was a junior officer in the 262 Infantry Division (Cavalry) during the start of the war. His final assignment and rank was a Major in the General staff and given General Command of the XVth Cossack Cavalry Corps which at that time was part of the Waffen SS. His items will be available as they become acquired from his son who is letting them go in small groups.
